Ropari is a beautiful village of Lugvalley in Kullu. Ropari village is about 8 km from Kullu city. The people of the Ropari village are living in a very peaceful way.
Festivals and Celebrations
In the centre of the village, there is a temple of ‘Shri Krishna’ and a small playground where most local festivals occur. There is a festival known as ‘Faagli’ which takes place in February or March. ‘Faagli is celebrated with the divine culture which is a very important part of the festival. ‘Faagli’ is celebrated for a day.
The ‘Karkuni’ (employees of the gods) Pandits, Bhandari, Gur, Kaardar etc. play a very important role in this festival. All arrangements are made by these people.
